Goodbye Tentrr Hello HipCamp

A few months ago I went to the Tentrr website to update our opening dates for our Tentrr Signature Glamping site (home of the grazing goats!)

What is the world?

There was no more website. No communication. Nothing. It was only after doing a bit of digging that I found a FB page talking about the company declaring bankruptcy.

All of our templates, emails, reviews, gone with the wind.

So, after a bit of scrambling and false starts we have landed on Hipcamp.* Lauded by The New Yorker, as the “Airbnb of the Outdoors” Hipcamp is not just for those of us with canvas glamping tents on platforms. Its company mission is simple, “Get More People Outside.”

So, to that aim, we have upgraded the loo tent and chased away the bees nesting under the canopy. My hand painted signs, disintegrating into layers of curled mille feuille, have been replaced with rust proof bespoke signs (not as fun but sturdier).

So, if you are in the neighborhood come, unplug, and savor the view.

If you are lucky the goats might give you a show.
